Seat 10 sga_jc10@ucf.edu Yuka Kimura is a junior working to major in Health Sciences with a minor in Global Peace and Security at UCF. Yuka has spent most of her life in Memphis, TN, until she moved to Orlando for UCF. Yuka has been a member of the Precedent Committee and Internal Rules Committee, and she is planning on joining the Judicial Outreach Committee this year. One of the parts she likes most about Judicial is the unique collaboration and exchange of diverse perspectives within the Branch. Outside of Student Government, she is involved with the Multicultural Association of Pre-Health Students, the Korean Culture Club, and her research lab with the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences – participating in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program and presenting at the American Heart Association’s Annual Research Day at Nemours Children’s Hospital and the Basic Cardiovascular Sciences Scientific Sessions 2023 in Boston. After graduation, Yuka hopes to go to medical school or graduate school programs where she can continue her research. < Back
