Internal Assistant Chief Justice Jake Hanson is a senior from Sarasota, Florida, majoring in Political Science (International Relations) with a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Anthropology in Global Health. Outside of Student Government, Jake is a Burnett Honors Scholar, an Undergraduate Admissions Ambassador, and serves on the President’s Leadership Council. Within the Judicial Branch, his role as the Internal Assistant varies between maintaining council records and operations, as well as serving as one of the coordinators for the SGLC and JLC programs. Previously serving as the Judicial Experience Committee Chair, Jake’s favorite thing about the Judicial Branch is working one-on-one with students and promoting student rights on campus. Following graduation, Jake hopes to pursue a graduate degree in foreign policy and global health.
