Attorney General sga_ag@ucf.edu Jonathan Polera is a senior majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in Marketing and pursuing a Certificate in Litigation and Advocacy. Originally from Central New Jersey, Jonathan has actively contributed to campus life and governance. He served in the Student Body Senate during the 55th session as Seat #2 for the College of Community Innovation and Education. Currently employed at the Office of the President for over a year, Jonathan functions as a Student Assistant. He also conducts Legal Research specializing in Plans of Safe Care. In his leisure time, Jonathan volunteers as an assistant basketball coach for the Lockwood Allstars. His professional experiences include participating in the Legislative Scholars internship, where he worked with Representative Roach and Representative Berfield of the Florida House of Representatives, and a previous internship at Wills and Trust Express. Jonathan currently holds the roles of Attorney General and Judicial Advisor. As Attorney General, he serves as the legal advisor to the President and provides opinions on constitutional matters, statutes, and student rights and responsibilities upon request. Additionally, the Attorney General undertakes statutory revisions in this capacity. The Judicial Advisor advises students appearing before the SG Judicial Council, the Office of Student Conduct, or any other University-sanctioned board. < Back
