Collin Hoffner

Chief Justice Hoffner is a junior, from Columbus, OH, studying aerospace engineering with a minor in political science. Chief Justice Hoffner started his involvement with Student Government through the Student Government Leadership Council and the Judicial Leadership Council, and later was appointed to serve as Associate Justice Seat #6 by President Blanco in May 2025. In his first year on the council, Chief Justice Hoffner served as the Internal Assistant Chief Justice and had the opportunity to coordinate the Student Government Leadership Council and the Judicial Leadership Council programs. Chief Justice Hoffner was then appointed to serve as the Chief Justice of the Judicial Branch in May 2026 by President Vakharia. Outside of Student Government, Chief Justice Hoffner serves as a Campus Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, as well as serves on the College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean’s Leadership Council. In the future, Chief Justice Hoffner aspires to attend law school and eventually have a career in policymaking or intellectual property law
