Lisyibet Silva

Chief Justice Lisyibet Silva is a senior from Coral Springs, Florida, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Spanish for the Legal World. She started her journey in Student Government as part of the 2021-22 SGLC cohort. She then went on to serve as Associate Justice in Spring 2022, and as Internal Assistant Chief Justice for the 2022-23 Judicial Council. She now has the honor of serving UCF as the Chief Justice—the chief administrative officer and leader of the Judicial Council. She oversees the several operational arms of the Judicial Branch, the Assistant Chief Justices, and the Judicial committees. Her favorite part of the Branch is the impartial advising services because of the one-on-one connections with students guiding them through sensitive University hearings.
