Associate Justice Samantha Rose Toscano is a sophomore from Boca Raton, Florida, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Legal Studies. She joined Student Government through the Judicial Leadership Council (JLC) during her freshman year and now serves as Vice Chair of both the Judicial Experience Committee (JEC) and the Precedent Committee. Samantha’s favorite part of serving on the Judicial Branch is providing a student-centered perspective to support the greater student body. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and pursue a career in the legal field.
Associate Justice Samantha Nerro was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Samantha is a junior pursuing a degree in Political Science on the Pre-Law Track. Justice Nerro joined Student Government through the Student Government Leadership Council and the Judicial Leadership Council her freshman year. She currently serves as the Precedent Committee Chair and has also served as the Internal Rules Committee Chair, Budget Committee Chair, and Vice Chair of the Internal Rules Committee. In these roles, Justice Nerro has led precedent-setting discussions, overseen rule amendments, and designed merchandise to strengthen the Judicial Branch’s outreach. After graduation, Justice Nerro plans to pursue a law degree with the goal of working in international human rights
