The Election Commission serves to promote and facilitate Student Government elections. This group is comprised of the Supervisor of Elections, the Assistant Supervisor of Elections, and twelve Election Commissioners. Together, they successfully market, facilitate, and execute elections!
The Election Commission ensures that all candidates and campaigns enjoy the election experience and abide by the Election Statutes. The commission holds Student Government candidates accountable for following the rules set in place by the Election Statutes to guarantee that the election is administered fairly. During the election period, the commission is responsible for facilitating candidate communications, checking the campus for violations, holding violation hearings, managing polling stations, and encouraging students to vote.
General Commission Meeting Meeting time: 5:00 PM in the Charge on Chamber (Spring Semester 2026).
